China Sourcing Fairs Mumbai open today

All roads lead to the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, Goregaon, India as the China Sourcing Fairs kickstart their three-day run today. Six collocated trade events on Electronics & Components, Security Products, Home Products, Gifts & Premiums, Hardware & Building Materials and Bathroom Products heat up the sourcing season in South Asia by showcasing the latest and trendiest from suppliers across the Greater China region. The shows will last until November 25.

The industry’s fastest-growing Fair attracted thousands of visitors in its Mumbai event in September 2010. In the Electronics & Components show, the wide array of modern electronics and hard-to-find components reflected the ingenuity of Greater China’s competitive manufacturers and exporters.

This season’s Electronics & Components trade event will highlight key trends in consumer, personal digital and automotive electronics and accessories. Buyers will find a range of tablet and mobile device accessories, computer peripherals, home entertainment systems, telecom and wireless products, mobile phones and GPS devices. The latest in electronic components and power supplies aimed at meeting requirements in terminal equipment will also be on display.

State-of-the-art security products headline the concurrent Security Products fair. Exhibits will reflect innovations in the CCTV and digital surveillance, access control and RFID, alarm, home and systems integration, and fire and safety product segments.

The Hardware & Building Materials show will provide buyers and visitors with a glimpse of the latest developments in building materials, general hardware, lawn and garden accessories, and bathroom, kitchen, plumbing, heating and cooling supplies. Buyers sourcing for flooring, ceiling and roofing materials, wall cladding and coverings, windows and doors, lighting and electrical fixtures and fittings, and tools and accessories will welcome the range of products for sampling.

The successful debut of the China Sourcing Fairs Bathroom Products, Home Products, and Gifts & Premiums show last year reflected growing interest in the Greater China region as a key sourcing hub for these products. The second run of the Bathroom Products fair this month will highlight bathroom and plumbing supplies, bathroom cabinets, sinks and fixtures, shower enclosures, bathtubs, toilets, faucets, shower heads and sanitary ware.

Running on the back of a well-attended launch in September 2010, the Home Products fair will reflect the latest in kitchenware, tableware, bakeware, cookware and glassware. Exhibits will include wine and bar accessories, ceramics and porcelain, storage, laundry and cleaning, bathroom accessories, household and personal care products, home décor and textiles, and outdoor furniture and decorations. The new section on pet care products is expected to catch buyers’ attention, as are displays covering sports and leisure products.

For the Gifts & Premiums show, the big-ticket items are sports and event gifts, electronic premiums, watches and clocks, stationery and paper, and photo frames. General gift items, promotional skins and cases, trinkets and jewelry boxes are also anticipated to be crowd drawers.

The Bombay Exhibition Centre is situated along the Western Express Highway in Goregaon and is accessible by several modes of transportation. The multifunction venue has four exhibition halls covering more than 45,000sqm. It is close to a number of hotels, leisure centers and shopping malls.
