Surveillance, access control lead exhibits at the security fairPosted: April 6, 2011
Top-of-the-line CCTV cameras, mobile DVRs, access control and alarm devices will create a buzz at Hong Kong’s Security Products show.
Major suppliers of cutting-edge surveillance, access control, alarm and other security products are in Hong Kong this month for the China Sourcing Fair: Security Products. Asia’s most important sourcing event for the security industry runs from April 12 to 15, 2011 at the AsiaWorld-Expo. Seasoned exporters from the Greater China region will showcase their latest devices during the four-day fair.
At the CCTV and digital surveillance section, the must-see products include miniature high-speed zoom cameras, and fog-penetrating day/night cameras with ultralong focus, pan/tilt function and optional infrared frequencies. High-resolution wide dynamic range cameras with OSD, 2D noise reduction and adaptive tone reproduction will attract buyers’ attention.
WDR is also the main selling point in some newly minted miniature cameras that incorporate vertical double-density interline CCD image sensors and 3D digital noise reduction.
Mobile DVR specialists will demonstrate motion-detecting multichannel models with SD card slots, time stamp and fixed time recording in MPEG-4 format.
Some suppliers will display IP modules for converting analog CCTV models into networked cameras.
Access control suppliers will showcase video door phones in DIY sets with 7in color TFT monitors, handsfree intercoms, outdoor cameras and door-release function. Systems supporting up to 64 apartments will be offered with modularized door panels, RFID card access, picture memory and network compatibility. Buyers can also sample 2.4GHz wireless guard tour systems and rugged, touch versions with 260,000-memory capacity.
Long-distance wireless door chimes, electric rim locks, door strikes, combination locks, Ethernet time attendance access controls and exit buttons will be aplenty at the show. Components such as surface- and recess-mounted magnetic contacts for roller doors will be available as well.
Buyers can expect to see elegant new designs of wired and wireless alarm systems. Exhibitors will be unveiling patented, DIY multizone wireless GSM/SMS alarm systems with built-in message recorders, up to eight preset numbers, IMEI code, phone arm/disarm function and optional LCD screens.
Other suppliers will create noise with their theft-deterrent, water-resistant 120dB sirens with flashlight and 10s digital voice message recording.
Code-learning wireless and air pressure sensors are among hundreds of accessories to be put on view. Makers of fire and safety products will introduce four- to 16-zone fire alarm panels and flashing strobe lights with selectable siren tones. Portable spy camera detectors, and wireless signal scanners and jammers for military and police use will be on display.
The China Sourcing Fair: Security Products is colocated with the China Sourcing Fair: Solar & Energy Saving Products, China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components, and Korea Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components.
